Present era is dominated by money, material, and machine. The humanizing 'H' factor, which is key to growth and sustainability of any society is diminishing as well as becoming invisible day by day. Moreover, the focus of various discourses and researches is unfortunately on the problems, the evils and on the deteriorating social systems. What we focus is what we think, what we think is what we behave, and what we behave is what we become ultimately. This 3rd ICHBDI 2016 conference with the theme Growth and Sustainability proposes a paradigm shift in focus, thought, behaviour and outcomes towards development, solutions, positive happenings as well as flourishing and thriving individuals and social systems.
As the nature of this conference is multidisciplinary, it intends to create synergy with professionals, practitioners, and researchers from various disciplines across the globe and to come up with a package of best practices that would allow and promote individuals and communities to thrive. We invite papers, symposia and intervention plans on the above theme from various disciplines; humanities, social sciences, management sciences, health sciences etc.
